Key Responsibilities
In this role you will work closely with our Accounting Supervisor/Manager to deliver timely, accurate financials and a seamless client experience by:
- Managing day-to-day accounting needs for assigned clients.
- Performing bank reconciliations, preparing monthly journal entries, and maintaining clean general ledgers.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Preparing and filing sales tax returns for multi-state clients.
- Supporting accounts payable/receivable processes, including Bill.com transactions, follow-ups on outstanding checks, and credit-card entries.
- Retrieving bank statements, investor statements, and other client documents.
- Cross-training on other accounts to provide coverage and continuity.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting experience minimum (public accounting preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) required—including bank recs and monthly journal entries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate Excel skills; familiarity with Word, Outlook, and Teams a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
