Accounting Intern

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the accounting team with daily financial tasks, including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
2. Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations.
3. Collaborate with team members to analyze financial data and assist in making informed business decisions.
4. Aid in the maintenance of accounting records, files, and documentation.
5. Assist with special projects, such as process improvements, internal control enhancements, and research assignments.
6. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry trends to contribute valuable insights.

Qualifications:

1. Student who has completed at least 60 college credits.
2. Student who is majoring in accounting or a related field with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
3. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
